það sem hefur stáðablað úrog það virðist hafa út tilað hluti við og það vil stoppa að hefa vlogðog náða þá er því að við erum sem fjölgjumbæða mjög hluti fjóð aðra um 40 °CEr það ekki þér og er það ekki þérþá er það ég bara það þig að fumast okkurÞað séum þín riksa en fyrir vissetíra við eru þér kannski luðindu þá er það eiginlega ekki erstaklega þetta.Það séu þerri fyrir vissetíra við, þetta er ekki ekki svona.Við hafum tírahotéls þ ikkeinn ég finnst þið fyrir því ég sagði þetta er það.tilverksth тár, nei þá þá er stílur að ég searching for the last of your tires anda place that does the replacement and you can pick them.up later and there's a modest charge for that because for a tire's if you don't have thespace is a bit of an use yes that is I don't know it is a few years back and like peopleare using more and more its it's definitely like yeah it cost you but it doesn't costog þannig að það aðeins ástofnir stjórnum og þau þurfum að stofnir þjórnum í dæra stjórnumþví að mér, ég verð að stofna það út af hlut og þetta þarf ekki að finna bærifyrir þjórnum, því að þjórnum er að hafa þessu djórn í reyðu og það er að völa, þannig að að þessua tire that is getting over five years old like a seven year old tire that they are getting likemore and more like fragile and we do not recommend to drive a tiles over seven year old and you canmaybe speed up that aging process if you're not storing the tire in the right way okay and uhbut but i think people are really like yeah they're using this tire hotels more and moreso just remind us of those dates again if you are planning to get studied tires the earliest thatyou can do that is that's first of november and then they've got to be off by uh 15th of apriland there is a bit of leeway on that isn't there if the conditions if for example you've got fivedays of heavy snow in the second or third week of april the police i think don't immediately findpeople but that is the law yeah yeah there are people like if if you are in doubt there youare going to travel some in the countryside then definitely uh just uh look up what thepolice have been saying about it uh sometimes they say we are not gonna find anyone for thenext two weeks because the weather is not going to be good so but but it always comes down to thesafety of the vehicle and the passengers so if you are in doubt then please just use the startedtires don't go on summer tires and and hope that it will not be snowing on on in the mountains yesbecause it doesn't it can and it frequently will let's talk about feb then theorganization the automobile association uh which is where we're sitting just now the headquartersin the center of Reykjavík what does this organization what does this association do fordrivers uh we are yeah like the organization the automobile association in iceland we are they aresimilar to uh like people know a triple a in the united states or a in uk and other places we arehelping our members that we are 22 000at the moment here in iceland with we have a road set assistance like 24 hours all day yearlong with that members can have a towing or tire replacement or jumpstart and things like that andwe also are have a good services like here inside i'm working mainly as a technical advisor toanswer questions about people have some issueswith the car and and the bill or they have to have the car repaired we all have also a legaladvisor here that can help people out if they have some issues with yeah they bought a car andit broke down and they are not sure who is to who should take the fall on that yeah and so we we arejust helping car owners in every way that we can and we are alsolike uh have uh helping out with the in the government we have they are asking us to haveour input on things and that can help and on that the per kilometer charge that was introduced bythe current government but i think previous governments have been interested in introducingthis as well that's a policy that feb favored you were calling for the introduction of a perkilometer charge are you happy with the way it's been introduced we were not happy about how theylike there was is just one fee for all the passenger vehicles even though if your vehicleis just one ton and you have another one that's 3.5 tons and you pay the same fee for drivenkilometer uh that was one thing that we were not uh completely satisfied about and uh and now weare we as people know that they are going to uh like uh charge more per kilometer in next yearand we are now asking the questions where is the money going and and we want this all this moneygoing to the infrastructure to the roads so uh so that's the one of the issues that we are havingnow with that but uh in a way the kilometra or the the the fee it was uh necessary in a waybecause uh all the like we are having more and more of uh electric vehicles on the road and andthey are not using uh gas of course and uh and there was less and less uh money going in theninto the infrastructure like roads and stuff like that and just on electric vehicles and electriccars is there enough infrastructure now to get around iceland if someone has an electric carshould they worry that they're going to run out of juice by the time they get to blundus if they'reheading north for example i think the infrastructure it's uh it's getting there and and we arequite there we uh both uh in the the vehicles are getting like more range every day and theyare putting up more and more charging stations around iceland and the the newest uh project isthat they are closing the ring road so they are saying like it's not going to be more than 100kilometers uh between charging stations when you say closing the ring road you mean they'reclosing the gaps they're closing the gaps yes yes and uh and that's uh that uh in a waythat it's going well but uh we like they are talking about they want more tourists to rentvehicles but uh i'm not sure if the infrastructure is like if it would put all our tourists on anelectric vehicle if that would like it can manage to service all of them but uh but in a way thingsare going well now and it's going forward it's a busy time of year for you as people as you wereon the microphone come back from vacation they've got all sorts of technical queries andquestions on the technical side of things what kind of questions do you usually have to answerfrom from people what's the most common question that comes your way uh the most common questionthat we have is that people buy a used vehicle there is some problem with it and they are likeasking who is like do i have do i have a warranty on it then and uh how do i get my like how can doand and it's it's always like it's it can be an issue because especially when you're pri buying itfrom a privately owned owner then then it's it can be a dilemma who is who is in the right becausethe new buyer like the new owner has to prove that the issue was in the vehicle before he bought itand so that's maybe one of the biggest issues that we are like having now and the questionsoh and something else that you do that has been useful for me although i've not had to use itabroad international driving permits yeah definitely definitely yeah we forgot about that that'syeah we we have uh we have the international driving license that we recommend that if you aregoing abroad and you have the icelandic driving license then pleaseyou can have the international driving license for our members it's like 800 kronorsand it's a it's a it's a definitely documentation you want to have especiallyI was in South Africa last year and no problem at all with my Icelandic licence but it was good to know I had the IDP in my pocket.Yeah, because your Icelandic licence is only in Icelandic so they would maybe look at your licence and they said,is this library card or something else? They have no idea. So you have this documentation.I must have been a good and trusted customer of the Carhartt company, that's what it must have been.Yeah, you probably have. Thanks very much indeed.
