and we would say his name like this.If we would see this out of all this context we have hereit would be pronounced just Messi with an E soundbut I think we keep to Messiwith the reference that's happening. And interestingly here we also have one of the few examplesbecause we must rememberEnglish and Icelandic are relatively closein so many ways.It doesn't always seem that way.Exactly.And of course with both languagesalso with mixtures of others and so onbut we have a few instances of exactly the same wordlike lampor in Icelandic lampthat is practically the same pronunciation also. And egg.Egg is another one. There are not manybut there are a few that are even spelled exactly the same.Yes.If you are just in plainnominativewithout articleversionit appears exactly the same. And because we're taking the name Messifrom the context of the famous footballerwe're not messing around withno pun intendedwe're not changing his nameor declining his nameare we in different cases? No, no, exactly.Yeah, yeah.Ok.Messi var einn út í mýri.So little Messi the lamphe was foundor he was aloneout in the wetland. So and I would thinkyou also have moreisn't it?Yes.Yeah.Yeah.I think so mýri and Samantekt

1. Þátturinn fjallar um Messi, lítil lamb sem var fundið í mýri í Suðurlandi á Íslandi. Rákel Ír Sigurðardóttir, yfirmaður vinnuskólans, segir að Messi hafi gleðjað bæði krakkana og íbúana sem þeir hittu.

3. Björgvin vinnur í vinnuskóla og tekur Messi með sér í vinnuna. Messi fylgir honum eins og hundur, sem endurspeglar þörf hans fyrir félagsskap eftir að hafa verið einn í mýrini.

4. Þátturinn útskýrir einnig tengslin milli íslenskrar og enskrar tungu, þar sem sum orð eru alveg eins í báðum tungumálum, og nýtir dæmi eins og „lamp“, sem er bæði lampi á íslensku og á ensku.
